The first french fries originated in Belgium and
were brought to the states by WWII veterans.
Some of these same veterans heard rumors that
the best "frites" were to be found at a road stand
outside of Brussels. After risking their lives to
find this stand, they indeed agreed these were
"Simply the World's Best Fries".
After a brief negotiation the recipe was brought
back to the Jersey Shore where we enjoy it today.
